The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of the oldest and largest organizations in the United States. The BPOE was formed and organized in New York City in 1868. From the beginning the mission of the elks has been to instill the principles of charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity into all of its members.
The Janesville Elks Lodge received its charter from the grand lodge in 1893. It is dedicated to the service of our community and our country. Being a member allows you to participate in activities to raise funds for charitable causes. Membership also includes social activities to connect with other members and their families.
Each year throughout America, countless people join the ranks of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks. People of honor and integrity, and charity. People who promote the welfare and happiness of their fellow members, and demonstrate that elks care and elks share.
